I liked this story very much as both a juggler and a Bronx Science student. However, I noticed that your analysis of juggling is incorrect. You say "Three balls, two always in the air", when actually there is only one always in the air in a normal cascade, which is the regular pattern of juggling. Once again, very nice story!

This is a very timely story these days when face transplants, while not exactly the norm, are occurring with increasing frequency.

Obviously, a murderer can never be too careful! "Watch your face folks" might be the motto of this well-written short story. Makes you wonder if the "family" will be able to help out this time.

Hello,

I'm Gail Farrelly, the author of the second story, "Get Yourself a Face." It was so much fun to hear Alan read my story. This is only the second time I've heard my work read aloud. It's a great experience. When I see my work published in print, I find myself revising it in my head. I always find fault. But when I HEAR it, I say to myself, "Hey, that sounds pretty good." No revision required. I'm not sure how to explain this. Maybe I'm accepting that the reader is giving approval to my work, sort of like an imprimatur or something. Hey, it must be OK if someone is actually reading it aloud!

Alan has a nice voice and excellent delivery. It makes for easy listening. And a bonus! He pronounced my name correctly.

For me to be included on the same program as Dorothy Francis was an honor. I just love her mysteries.

I'm grateful to Alan for choosing my story. And I thank all of you for listening and/or reading.

I wish everyone a good summer -- with lots of good books to read and radio shows to listen to.
